The PhotoLab
Elevating the Industry Standard.
The PhotoLab was a strategic initiative I founded at MR PORTER to redefine how the world’s most prestigious watch Maisons appeared in the digital space.
Recognising that our in-house imagery was outperforming the industry, I pitched a new visual vision to the major luxury houses across Europe. The goal was simple: to translate their heritage into a modern, high-impact e-commerce aesthetic that didn't compromise on craftsmanship.
THE IMPACT
Strategic Partnerships Collaborated directly with Vacheron Constantin, IWC, JLC, A. Lange & Söhne, Roger Dubuis, and Piaget to design bespoke visual standards.
The Creative Pitch Liased with global brand directors to create tailored creative directions—blending technical "on-table" precision with elevated "on-model" storytelling.
Operational Success Built the technical engine and workflows required to deliver these new standards at scale, turning a creative pitch into a massive commercial success for the group.
