Really enjoyed working with Mr.Porter.com and shooting this fantastic piece of art. Housed in a hermetically-sealed transparent cabinet, Jaeger-LeCoultre 's 'Atmos' clock "lives off air". Inside the perfectly clear capsule is a mixture of gases that expand and contract with even the most minute temperature variation, causing the mechanism to naturally self-wind. This baccarat crystal '568' model is Australian industrial designer Mr Marc Newson's interpretation of the fascinating ornament and is defined by fluid lines that draw the eye to the complexity of the internal movement from all angles, highlighting the 211 precisely placed components.
